Black Friday adventures

I'm not quite insane enough to attend Black Friday sales in the stores known for teh crazy - Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target, etc. - but I do venture out when other stores have items on sale that I've been wanting. This year my big quest was a wheeled tool cabinet at Lowes.

I got the same 1.5 tb drive at my local Radio Shack. (I got the last one in stock, in fact.) Unfortunately, I didn't get there until almost 9, and the lines were all the way across the store. But everyone was well-behaved.

My only other stop was Ben Franklin's, which was less crowded. One of our Wal-Marts had a customer fistfight over an item, which explains in one point why I try to stick to little stores and online shopping on big sale days.

I do not understand the mentality of the people who riot over cheap electronics. Imagine how these people would act in a real crisis.
