Raise a glass...

..this evening, not while you're working. Tonight, I will pour a glass of my best scotch (Glenfiddich) and raise a glass in toast to a great man, my father, who passed this morning. At 87 years old, as my friend Vince says, that's a lot of innings. He lived them well.

He did enjoy his martinis. Light on the vermouth. In fact, just pass the glass over the vermouth bottle, that should do.

Thanks for the offer of space. I hear there will be room at mooreland Rd after all, so it may not be necessary. Stand by, though, just in case. Cousins are coming.

He liked his bourbon too. Preferably Rebel Yell, but any will do.
