A diversion from writing

I started this as an FB post but it's starting to look too long for it.

Yes, I love my reading time too. I may be on the extrovert side of the scale, but pretty close to the center of the intro/extro spectrum. After a while, i need someone to talk to, which drives my very introverted wife up the wall.

When I was at an impromptu happy hour in Portland (ME) with a former co-worker last week (she was visiting from the West Coast), she said to thank my wife for lending me to her. I said "I think she was looking forward to getting me out of the house. It's been 4 days trapped with me."

Sparky is a complete introvert like me. You, on the other hand, need people in order to recharge and always have. Sometimes you just need to be where people are but not have to interact. The energy they put out feeds you somehow.
