tired...
I find myself epically bummed. I didn't post anything when Panic split in two or when Pete freaked out all over the web, but Bob not being a part of My Chem just bums me the fuck out. I was soo looking forward to the new album and hopefully getting to see them live, but now it sounds like they're rewriting again and who knows how long it will be before they release the album. I know, selfish much? *sigh* I hope there wasn't any bad blood or anything...especially thinking of Frank talking about thanking God every day for bringing them Bob Bryar. I may just be getting a bit hormonal, but this is making me all emotional and shit. Overinvest much?
I have seen one of my favorite bands switch out bass players(Metallica) and still seem to have a good relationship with the former player, as evidenced by their induction into the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame. Other bands couldn't seem to stop with the drama as Steven Tyler was leaving the band (which I can understand, that man has put himself through the wringer for his music for a very long time), there was talk of Billy Idol taking his place (which I thought might actually be kinda cool), and then they make a big joke out of it saying the band held auditions and Steven was in. I really hope this is more like Metallica's switch than the break My Chem had with Otter.
I hope they get their shit together. I hope they all parted on good terms....and I just realized that it was almost four weeks ago that Frank posted the blog about Gerard's voice not being agreeable and that's why they couldn't play Soundwave. Shit. Fuck.
And now I'm going to bed because I am suddenly very tired of everything.
