I won't give details or anything, but I'm sure. ;) Bud is on his way. This is the name that my dad has (affectionately) bestowed on the baby until a) we find out what it ( Read more... )

~bounces and squees~ So now I can run around telling EVERYONE! I already told Erin and Bev cuz I just couldn't stop squeeing! ~boogies~ BTW, I think that crib set I wanted to get Bud was call Zanaibar or something like that. If you and Ben find one you really really like, let me know so I can get it for you instead!

I'm hoping they'll tell us what the baby is this time. Ben says he'll pay the $300 if Tricare won't to get it done downtown instead of on the base...:) I definitely like the Zanzibar for a boy, but I wanna do something girly if it's a girl. I'm a freak like that. I've found an adorable girl set at Target that I'm in love with. It's pink, shh...don't tell. ;) Kaitlyn Crib SetI was all excited to paint the nursery as well, but if we're getting restationed what's the point. I hope to know more after Ben's appointment this week. :-S

Thank you! *HUGGLES* I'm going in tomorrow for my "official" pregnancy test for the military insurance and such. I have an appt on Friday to evaluate my health and my prescription that I want to get off of ASAP. Other than that there's not much to tell yet. :) Except that I'm on cloud 9! Just exhausted. I didn't miss that part at all. *yawns* TOo much happy dancing. ;)

I know the test will be just fine! You are an awesome mommy and everything will be great! And oh! Let me be your official book suggestor! (Amy gets to help pick out crib furniture after all, I want to help with SOMETHING!). ~bounces~ I'm sooo excited! Can't blame you for happy dancing but take care of yourself too! Get lots of sleep! :)

You can suggest all the books you want, you are now my official Book Selector! I'm hoping Bud will love them as much as Em (whose shelf is overflowing)! As for sleep, I'm trying. If only I had someone to do my housework while I'm sleeping! ;)

~beams~ Love being book selector! I can imagine that Em's shelf in overflowing. What's nice is that you can pass down what Em has to Bud to start so the books get more life out of them. However, I'm not sure if Bud likes princess stories, so those might have to be donated... :)
As for books, pretty much anything by Mo Willems or Doreen Cronin gets my vote, and Jan Brett's stories are beautifully illustrated. She does them herself and she is one hell of an artist. I did a story today for first-graders today that she wrote called Trouble With Trolls that they just adored. And I saw another author today named Lauren Child who wrote a really cute story called Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Book? that I got the biggest kick out of. One more for today... Mrs. Watson Wants Your Teeth by Alison McGhee was really really cute. I read it the other day at the school and I got the biggest kick out of it. The kids really love it.

Other popular titles- The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, The Hippo-Not-Amus by Tony Payne, Chicka Chicka Boom ( ... )

LOL!!!! Anytime. I was just jotting down the ones I could remember off the top of my head. And I realize that I forgot to put Kevin Henkes, Norman Bridwell (Clifford!), and Peggy Parish (Amelia Bedelia) on the list.

Oh, as for extra books, how could I forget one of my personal faves, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus by Mo Willems. I know I mentioned him as an author (he's the guy who writes Sheep in the Big City and Codename Kids Next Door), but I just love that book!

Oh, I had to laugh today... I saw a book titled, Book. I swear, I was ROTF LMAO!!!! I think the kids thought I was on crack! Okay, I'm off to class! :)
