Reading an interesting book, The World is Flat by Thomas Friedman. Very interesting book about how radically our world is changing. Spurred on by his conversation about the internet, google, yahoo groups, etc. I got on my yahoo account and joined the Glass Eye2000 (Stained Glass design program) Yahoo Group. Whales tend to be a bit monochrome! One or two would be cool though. Seeing a whale/going whale watching is still on my to-do list.

Fishes in the kelp forest exhibit in Monterey aquarium (and others) come in red, yellow, green and brown. http://www.mbayaq.org/efc/efc_kelp/kelp_cam.asp

I agree with you about whales being monochromatic.

FR and I love to go whale watching. We'll be visiting the whales on the east coast in a couple of weeks.

Whale-watching is great - especially if, like me, you just love being on the water, whale sightings or not. Chris just got himself a new digital camera that not only zooms in 12x magnification, but can take rapid-fire shots, a very necessary thing if one is trying to capture the photo of a whale on the surface (not even breaching) - can't wait to go on a whale watch with that camera, us!

It is an eye opening book. I've read about 160 pages so far. Tipping Point and Blink were faster reads but The World is Flat is just as interesting.

Hope all is well with you all. How is the house selling going?
