Another one bites the dust...

Another week gone, and still no OSAP $$...I really hope that the repayment office doesn't try to take even more $$ from my account at the end of the month, cuz my funds won't hold up for bills & rent if they do. Don't know if I've mentioned classes yet in previous posts, but here goes anyways:

CST8110: some programming course that we're learning how to code in C++...with Microsux VC++ .NET. The compiler is garbage, but I'm doing quite well in the course, so whatever
CST8201 - Desktop Operating Systems: We started "learning" how to install Windows and how to do stuff with the GUI and command line, and soon enough, we are going to be taught how to use Linux. We'll be using Fedora Core 5, so who knows how that'll work...I've heard Ubuntu is strictly better, but that's just word of mouth.
CST8214: The one I've missed all but about 6 classes. That's what 8 AM classes do to you when you live an hour commute from class...One was a mid-term that I got something like 75% on...oh, and I haven't bought the text for this course (or any others for that matter).
ENL1813T - English 1: One cannot take a course seriously that doesn't use a reference style that is known by a UW Arts major (and yes, she did list off a half dozen or so when I mentioned I didn't remember the reference style (IEEE, if you're asking))
MAT8100 - Mathematics 1(?): Anyone that's been admitted to UW Math should be able to sleep through 100% of lectures and complete quizzes or mid-terms in 25% of the allotted time and still have an average as good as mine (hell, minus the sleeping, that's what I've done). Read: grade 10/11 math all over again.
MTG8100 - Careers and College Success: My cousin had warned me about this course being bad. He must not have had a good teacher. It is by far my favorite course. Then again, that's because the prof is amazing. The material is trivial and actually useful, but the way it is delivered is excellent. Too bad I have a 0% chance of having this prof again!

Also, I went to my first Sens game in Ottawa since becoming a resident here! My cousin and I enjoyed last Thursday's Sens Vs Flames game. Devin enjoyed it more than I (he's an pro-Leafs, anti-Sens person...must have been dropped on his head as a child) as Ottawa's offense was anemic for yet another game. They lost 1-0 in regulation while providing a very unconvincing effort to score goals.

Oh well, I should head to bed if I want to pretend I'll be going to my 8 AM class tomorrow morning...
