Perry I just want to say that I respect you so much for discovering who you are, even though you are (as we all are) still in the process.
I know people who deny who they are even to themselves. I really believe that at least attempting to come to terms with who you are is living your life to the fullest. And you are doing that and so much more.
Society has put so many restrictions on you. Relationships and love are hard enough without SOCIETY telling you how to handle them.
Perry, I really hope you know that you touch just about everyone you come in contact with. Everyone here at St. Thomas More talks about you constantly. We were all willing to chip in for a plane ticket from Louisiana to New York so you could be here for our retreat. But when we asked Joe he told us that you were not the person to accept such a generous gift, and we knew he was right.
Perry you are an AMAZING person. Never forget that!! :) <33
hehe...Thank you for your post. Now you see why retreat people mean so much to me. I love and miss you all up there!!! I hope some of you can visit me while I'm up for Gospel Roads. Until later...
awwwh Perry, I had so much faith in your relationship. I'm sorry things didn't turn out better. I know you're afraid, hell, I am too. But you have made some major steps this year and I can only hope that things will get better. I love you Perry, and I miss eating with you.
Take it from someone who still hasn't figured out how to come out to anyone, and I'm older than you (not saying how much yet). You've come this far, so keep trying. I totally relate to you about opening up and about songs. I'm a singer --- okay, that's part of my life; it's really kinda complicated --- anyway, I can sing my heart much better than I can just say it. I, too, have a solid gospel background, which makes it more difficult. The area I live in is certainly not open to it either. I've let this one issue about which I'm unwilling to confide to anyone keep me from becoming successful --- for fear of not being able to be successful. Go figure! It would be good to at least have someone on line to talk to about it, but so far, that hasn't happened. I'm not on line every day, but once in a while would be good. Oops! Sorry I'm taking up so much space. Thanks for giving me space to reply. You look and "sound" like a really great guy. don't get discouraged. You're on the right track. God bless! ----"P"----
Thank you so much for your post. I can totally relate with having such a deep faith background. It's like, even if I were to say something to the family, they would expect me to comply with our religious beliefs, and as faithful as I am to my faith, there are certain things I do not agree with, and living this lifestyle is one of those things. I hope you post again or give me a buzz soon...AIM: PJPJr10, Yahoo!: PJPJr10, MSN/Windows Messenger: PJPJr10@hotmail.com.
Thanks again for the support. Know that you have mine as well!
