1. What kind of soap is in your bathtub right now? Irish Spring
2. Do you have any watermelon in your fridge? Maybe? See next question
3. Is there anything moldy in your refrigerator? Most likely, since one of our fridges is sitting outside under the eaves while the kitchen gets remodeled. The little one probably doesn't have anything moldy in it, though.
4. Are there any dirty dishes in your sink? Nope.
5. What would you change about your living room? FINISH IT! (Also being remodeled.)
6. Are the dishes in your dishwasher clean or dirty? Absent, currently.
7. Do you have a can of mushrooms in your pantry? Yep, but I'm too lazy to confirm.
8. White or wheat bread? Whichever, or sourdough, multigrain, rye, etc. Bread is delicious.
9. What is on top of your refrigerator? Depends. The inside (little) one is supporting the microwave, the outside one is covered by a tarp.
10. What color is your sofa? Bright freaking red
11. What color or design is on your shower curtain? Dunno what's on the one in the upstairs bathroom, the downstairs shower I use has a sliding glass door.
12. How many plants are in your home? 15-20 probably.
13. How many candles are in your home? Well, Mom just bought a 100-pack of tea candles from IKEA...
14. Is your bed made right now? Hah!
15. If you have a coffee pot, what color is it? The POT is glass, the MAKER is black.
16. Electric or standard can opener? standard.
17. Comet or Soft Scrub? Comet.
18. Is your closet organized? Sort of.. the clothes are either hanging up or in the cubbyhole/shelf things, and the shoes are on the floor. That's about as organized as I get with my room, haha.
19. What color is the flashlight that you use the most? Black
20. What kinds of things are in your junk drawer? Junk. (Stamps, scissors, lots of pens and pencils that don't work, a ruler or two, paperclips, etc.)
21. Do you drink out of glass or plastic most of the time at home? Plastic, the same milk glasses my parents got for a wedding present thirty-odd years ago.
22. Do you have iced tea made in a pitcher right now? No
23. If you have a garage, is it cluttered? At the moment, yes - it's housing the detritus from the living room/kitchen remodeling, and Dad's partially-restored truck
24. Curtains or blinds? Blinds
25. How many pillows do you sleep with? There's two on my bed, but one in active use at a time.
26. Do you sleep with any lights on at night? No.
27. How many ceiling fans are in your home? Three
28. How often do you vacuum? Not often enough, haha.
29. Standard toothbrush or electric? Standard
30. What color is your toothbrush? White and yellow
31. Do you have a welcome mat on your front porch doorstep? Yup
32. What is in your oven right now? Nothing, because it isn't installed yet either. I want some fresh bread...
33. Is your microwave clean or dirty? Relatively clean.
34. Is there anything under your bed? Yup, some luggage and some foam pads for camping.
35. Chore you hate doing the most? Probably cleaning my room for extended periods... I stir up enough dust and crap to make me sneeze all day.
36. What retro items are in your home? Do my parents count as "retro"? Also, I just got a record in the mail today (joining lots of my parents' records), we still use some dial phones, and there's lots of antiques around.
37. Do you have a separate room that you use as an office? No, the basement is an office but there's other stuff there.
38. If you have a yard, who mows it? All of us.
39. Is there anything on your kitchen floor right now? Sawdust
40. How many mirrors are in your home? I dunno... a lot.
41. Do you have any hidden emergency money around your home? Not as far as I know
42. What color are your walls? Various colors, from beige to gray-green to blue
43. Which rooms in your house have wallpaper? Hmm. Three or four, I think.
44. Do you have a peephole in your front door? Yes.
45. Do you keep any kind of protection weapons in your home? My dad has a shotgun somewhere
46. What does your home smell like right now? Barbecue.
47. Favorite candle scent? *shrug* one that isn't too overpowering. Even plain candles smell pretty good to me, but for the sake of scented ones, I'll say vanilla.
48. What kind of pickles (if any) are in your refrigerator right now? Dill. There might be relish, but I think my dad's the only one that would ever use it.
49. Who is in the pictures you have displayed? There's a few of me and my sister (HS grad photos), some of her and Matt, my brother in law, and one of my dad and 4 of his 5 siblings. Strangely, there aren't any of my mom's side of the family, as far as I can remember.
50. What color is your favorite Bible? Red - my grandma's old Bible.
51. Do you have plenty of cabinet space in your kitchen? Hah, yes. There has to be half again as much cabinet space as there was in the kitchen, even with the different layout and more appliances.
52. Ever been on your roof? Yes, long ago when I was helping my dad get rid of snow and ice dams.
53. Do you own a stereo? Yup - there's an old boombox in my room, and I have a tuner boxed up at the moment with the speakers sitting in the garage. My folks have two tuners, only one of which is operating at the moment.
54. How many TVs do you have? 2, only 1 is plugged in.
55. How many house phones? 4, I believe.
56. Do you have a housekeeper? Ha! (to quote grover173)
57. What style do you(r parents) decorate in? Lots of antiques, a good amount of wooden stuff... sort of a semi-Craftsman style, but in a split-level.
58. Do you like solid colors in furniture or prints? Solid colors.
59. Is there a smoke detector in your home? Several, one per bedroom plus a few others.
60. In case of fire, what are the items you would grab if you only could make one quick trip? The fire extinguisher :-P
61. Do you know how to work your electrical box? Yes.
62. What temperature in your home is most comfortable to you? Low 70s, but the humidity is much more important to my comfort.
