Something needs to be done with Lucien... I honestly feel like pulling the plug on the poor guy, to put him out of his suffering; and mind you, Flood is more than willing to do just that and rid himself of one pest he's sick of putting up with... There's nothing else in the world -- real world or Matrix-side -- that he wants more than Ninel's love

There's not a whole lot I can do about the Lucien situation from my end, unfortunately, short of strongly encourage both yourself and Puck to "bend" the characters as much as possible in order to create a solution that will leave everybody in a better mood. Is it utterly inconceivable that Ninel woud take Lucien back? Is it equally utterly inconceivable that Lucien will find another love to console him? (Now THAT I can work on with you, MR, if it becomes an option.)

I recommend that everybody read the following article, Making the Tough Decisions", which in part deals with the issue of character impasses in roleplay. We can work this out. It's just a matter of how.
