eastpathspirit (8:25:48 PM): Trinity tries to hold herself together. It isn't easy.
gigolojoecrow (8:26:18 PM): does she accompany Neo to the medical facilities once they reach Zion?
ChaosAngel2112 (8:26:33 PM): Morpheus tries to stand indomitable and utterly certain, a bastion of strength for his crew. He cannot let his own doubts interfere now.

gigolojoecrow (8:28:12 PM): the medical bay where Neo ends up becomes a computer bay as well, as the most skilled operators and hackers in Zion converge on the One
gigolojoecrow (8:28:27 PM): Trinity has a front-row seat as they work over the code
gigolojoecrow (8:28:47 PM): will Morpheus elect to be there as well? doubtless he has duties elsewhere
ChaosAngel2112 (8:29:03 PM): He'll try to be there when he can be.
gigolojoecrow (8:29:48 PM): they've got Neo plugged into a Construct, since any attempt to separate his mind from something like Matrix code results in Bad Things
gigolojoecrow (8:29:54 PM): but he remains unconscious
gigolojoecrow (8:30:34 PM): and Trinity is there when the top operators come to the grim conclusion that while they can use fake confirmation codes to slow his decline, they can't stop it

gigolojoecrow (8:30:58 PM): a messenger is sent to Morpheus

gigolojoecrow (8:31:37 PM): the operators leave her alone with him, as a gesture of respect

eastpathspirit (8:31:56 PM): whispering to him

eastpathspirit (8:37:05 PM): it starts with pleading for him to come back, to wake up, telling him she misses him and doesn't know what to do.
gigolojoecrow (8:37:33 PM): which must be a very hard admission for a woman like Trinity
eastpathspirit (8:37:33 PM): then it changes to anger because she feels betrayed, he's choosing to stay this way, to stay with smith, and it tears her to the core
eastpathspirit (8:37:57 PM): which is why the admission came when she was alone

gigolojoecrow (8:39:10 PM): by the way, this entire time, security personnel are having to hold back crowds who want to be in the medical bay with Neo
gigolojoecrow (8:39:43 PM): every so often a doctor comes in, takes some readings, and leaves again
gigolojoecrow (8:40:14 PM): three or so hours later, it's one of those doctors who lays a hand on Trinity's shoulder
gigolojoecrow (8:40:29 PM): and says: "The Council is convening."
eastpathspirit (8:40:50 PM): if anyone is around she doesn't talk or cry then
gigolojoecrow (8:41:18 PM): fortunately, the bays on either side of the one containing Neo are vacant -- Trinity has the privacy she wants
eastpathspirit (8:41:22 PM): She nods in reply and composing herself and stands.
gigolojoecrow (8:41:49 PM): the doctor looks at Neo: "If you want to stay here... we'll let you know as soon as we know anything."
gigolojoecrow (8:42:09 PM): Morpheus, meanwhile, has received a summons to appear before the Council

gigolojoecrow (8:42:26 PM): he can probably guess what this means -- they're going to make a decision about Neo

gigolojoecrow (8:42:41 PM): the population of Zion who believe in the One won't stand for waiting much longer

gigolojoecrow (9:24:48 PM): Correl: "Ravyn told us what you said to her."
gigolojoecrow (9:24:55 PM): Correl: "And I believe we understand you."
gigolojoecrow (9:25:28 PM): Correl: "A... retreat from the field is less likely to be noticed, or stopped, when a battle is raging."

gigolojoecrow (9:26:56 PM): Correl: "We cannot help you beyond inciting further outrage among the faithful -- which we are willing to do, in order to give you your chance."

gigolojoecrow (9:27:36 PM): Correl: "But there is a woman in Docking Bay Control -- a technician named Fionnel -- who might be able to give you more concrete help."
