A few years ago, a radio station was having a contest for passes to a movie premiere (the screening for critics, where they wanted Real People in the audience to laugh at the comedy). I wanted to go, but thought, "Dammit, I am not some 13 yr old girl with a cell phone and nothing to do who can listen all day and keep calling in." So I called the radio station and ASKED for passes. I was put on hold and passed along to a couple people before I got the Contest Lady. She said sure, and I went that night! The movie companies always give out more than there are seats because so many people are no-shows, it turns out. Was I lucky or did I make my luck? A bit of both?

I think in terms of actually winning things, I'm not lucky, but that stands to reason as I don't often try to win anything. "You can't win if you don't play...". But when I do play scratch cards etc. I don't think I am lucky with them.
I think in terms of things falling into place the way I want, I'm lucky. Whether it's the universe being nice to me or me creating it myself, I'm not sure about that.

I think I'm lucky in certain aspects. I also think I have some premonition abilities which thereby enhances my luck.
