I think that the pass book for visiting temples is a marvelous idea. What a great way to record your trips to them. If I ever had the chance to visit Japan, I would certainly want that opportunity as well.

It is a good way to record your trip, I will end up with a small library of them before I go, especially if I visit the Island of Shikoku.

Don't feel guilty if you don't update for a week because you are busy - the journal is for you, not for us! I don't update anywhere near as often as I used to when I was at uni. My life has become a lot more boring since then.
