Well, after a whole week of no assigned sales calls, I talked with my sales manager after our weekly staff meeting and we came to the mutual conclusion that it was best if I turned in all of my stuff and we went our separate ways. Yeah, it hurts some because I really did try to make it work, and it just didn't...

Well, the weekend trip to Virginia didn't go so well. The drive down and the drive home were just fine. It was the fact that on Saturday it rained all day and we couldn't even do what we were down there for! Bummer :(

Still no luck on getting a new job yet... I'm just about ready to make the move to a work-from-home job that would be me working as a call-center for a major company. I have been working for Empire for a little over 4 months now, including our training session. I'm not liking it at all and have been looking for something else for the past month plus. I had a few interviews already, but nothing came from them. I have another one tomorrow morning that I really hope goes well and is a good fit for what I'm looking

Last Tuesday I had a job interview and they said they hoped to let people know by Monday (yesterday) who did or didn't get the job.... When I had told a certain person about said interview last week, he basically congratulated me on getting the job already! Yesterday I spent the day with the guys in Indianapolis :) We went to the Indiana State Museum and saw the 'Star Wars, Where Science Meets Imagination' exhibit. We also watched 2 IMAX movies, one about Great White Sharks and the other was 'Man of Steel'. Both were in 3D too. Well, I survived my week long vacation with an almost complete lack of cell service/internet. I was able to go to a library on Monday to check email and such and was able to get cell service on Thursday for a little while because I was far enough North to get it again.
