(Eight-Nine Years ago from present rp's.) The past few days had almost been like a dream. Siantira always enjoyed the rare moments she could spend with her Bajoran lover. 2369 (seven years ago), Cardassia PrimeTora Neprem walks slowly down the darkened street in Lakarian City, noting the small differences that an absense of four years has worked. The night air is almost cool enough for her, and the empty street brings back memories. Today is Ziyal's twelfth birthday. Her father has probably thrown a big party for her, congratulating her on her achievements this year and showering her with all the attention he loves to give his only child. Neprem imagines her daughter as she last saw her, a year ago on Bajor: so tall for a child, so much more Cardassian than she expected ( ... )

The evening ended on a good note as Ziyal's birthday gathering turned out better then Dukat could have hoped for. Though his daughter was obviously dissipointed at the fact her mother wasn't able to show, he did everything in his power to ensure her day was a special as one could make it and in the end she was as happy as he had ever seen her. Which in truth is all that really mattered to him ( ... )

Neprem is uncomfortably conscious that now that she is here, she really has no clear idea what she means to do. Kira always chides her for not planning ahead. She smiles, hoping to mask her uncertainty.

A quick glance, more obvious than Neprem would like, towards the other woman's departing figure.

She pushes past her unreasonable disappointment at not finding him alone, and focuses on the one thing she still has here.

Dukat tries to hide his own awkwardness as he can feel the air shift and thicken before them. It's hard to believe there was a time when things between us weren't awkward he thinks saddly to himself. When did it all change?

He notices her eyes shift as he follows her gaze noting Anja slipping away down the hall to the gardens in the back. Another tinge of guilt crosses his thoughts as he realizes that inadvertantly he has dragged his mate into this without meaning to though he knows better then to assume she would hold it against him. Still her presence and albiet brief gives him some silent comfort that he can deal with this despite the pain of memories it brings.

I'm doing fine, thank you. How about you?

He asks feeling odd that anytime he speaks to her he is always at loss for words. A strange if not uncomfortable position for a Cardassian to find himself in. At her final remarks he frowns slightly feeling bad that Ziyal is sleeping, but wondering if there is more to this then she says.Well, she is sleeping, the celebrations ( ... )

The voice made Ezri Tigan start slightly, breaking her train of thought. She set her padd down and sighed. Why she had come to "Ishka's" on a Terran Saturday in order to relax continued to evade her. She had a lot to think about; and of all the places she could have gone--her quarters, the Promenade, even a cargo bay or a Jeffries tube--she still didn't understand why she'd chosen the rowdiest, most crowded place in the station. And of course, just as she was getting settled in, someone had to disturb her thoughts with a pointless comment about her choice of beverage ( ... )

Later on, she reflected that she should have seen it coming. He was dropping all the right hints. Maybe she was too distracted by his irritating insults, or maybe she was distracted by something else. But that was when everything started to go off-plan. She didn't have time for the distraction of a lover right then; she had too much work to do. She had to get Kahti to start decoding some of the technical mumbo-jumbo Bashir had thrown at her; she had to find a ship, make a deal with a captain ( ... )

OH MY GOD, what a well crafted piece of fiction! rosie (that is ur real name isnt it?) anyways wow, seriously though, it was really good, it was gripping!

can i just say one word was a tad outta place, well for me reading it, not that im in a position to criticise, it was "snogged" it was a real harsh word - maybe i just dont like it but aside from that i loved it, im falling more for this ezri demar thing ever day!

She was the one that triggered this scene in my head lol and it was all downhill from there!

HAHAHAHA! Snogged lol I can't remember if that was written in jest or not i know we poked jokes at the end of a couple scenes where we were like eyah and then they snogged hehe I think that was actually written as an ooc thing if i remember correctly *at least hopes so cause snog is such a well raunchy term for a serious scene lol*

Wow what a case of extremes. The first one was lovely and so endearing i like how you have Ezri focusing on her life after the war how it all repeat itself and how in the end a little faith and good friends can go along way...

The second story scared me lol it's intence and Dukat is so slimey! *shivers* very intence

but seriously they are cool tales! I don't know why you are so worried *especially loved he first one!!*
