Over the past month there have been more attempts on my life then I can count. It seems someone is quite annoyed with the status I have gained. At the moment it is of no concern to me as I have some of the Republics finest guards her with me on Babylon 5. A simple encrypted message arrives via note. It bears the image of a rustic red Dorchan and it reads.

I wish to send my congratulations first and foremost, to tell you how happy I am for you. Though I'm sorry to have heard of your complications with your opposition. It always seems that whenever something goes right for one there's always another looking to ruin it. However I have faith that the great Lady is looking out for you and will ensure that no harm comes your way.

Adira was not in a position to help Mariel yet though she wanted to. The horrors of slavery should not be put upon anyone and she was distraught that one of her companions still remained in its hold. Adira called upon her contacts in the Assassin's guild as they knew the whereabouts of nearly everyone. she wished to send a gift if she could do nothing more at the moment. She boxes up a new dress that would appeal to her friend and 500 ducats.. A slave can always use money of thier own. In it she places a note.

I thank you for your congratulations. I am happy for once, I only wish you could share it. If there is anything that I can do, do not hesitate to call. I will be on Babylon 5 on nearly a permanent basis now.

The gift couldn't have arrived at a better time if she had planned it herself. It was a rare moment when her master was too preoccupied with other business when the assassin delivered it and even more surprising was it's contents. At the sight of it she almost wants to weep in joy. They may scoff her and her friend for their beliefs in Li but in moments like this no one can doubt the great godesses influence. The missing pieces of her plans has just been given to her without warning or expectation. All that remained now was for the right moment to set it in motion.

Almost immediately she sends another brief and scrambled message (lest her master is able to locate it) to Adira her joy and gratitude most evident in her words.I wish to thank you for the wonderful gift.
