Though physical work
Wouaw, I have been working on building my house since last week, and I must confess that this is not an easy task. Not only physically but also mentally. Since we are building the house ourself, we have to think about every little details all the time ( Read more... ) -
house building update
We are completing our basement walls tomorrow morning, we will start pouring concrete in the forms tomorrow morning at 9am.
So exciting !
If everything goes well, we should be able to have a first floor completing over the week-end !!!!!
BTW, I am on vacation for 3 weeks starting today !! YAHOO!! -
Here we go
House building is now OFFICIALLY started. We started digging the house this morning at 7:00 am. I was there to help coordinate, since we were doing the alley first, then digging the hole for the services for my plubmer to be able to connect with the municipality services (water and stuff), and then digging for the house itself since we are ( Read more... ) -

It is very good training though, we are now heading in the right direction since we are taking over the development of this project that was mostly done by contractors so far. Life, love, and cancer....
Just received a bad news today.... My uncle passed away last Friday. It was one of my uncle that was having a wonderful life with is wife, a new life I should say after having worked so hard in their own "porchery" for many years. Wife update
A lot has happened since my last post, you can probably guess it by the number of post today. First, Karine is not going back to work at the Hoptial Charles-Lemoyne since she took a 2 year off that she can take after having a baby. Regarding work news, I am still involved in the huge project that makes me travel to Bellevue, WA once in a while. I went back to Bellevue from July 23rd to August 4th and will probably be heading there again from August 27th to September 7th ( Read more... ) -
Family on the move
We are finalization our move out of our house this week. We were finally able to sell our house and we are moving to my in-laws during the time we will build our own house.... Yes ! I will be building my own house with my father-in-law for the next couple of months !!!! What a nice project ( Read more... ) -
In Bellevue, WA for 2 weeks
Yep, you read it right, I am in the states for 2 weeks for work.
I am on big project starting the integration phase and have a lots to do, and also meet people here.
Trying to fix all those bugs and come back with a project in a better shape.
