she called her boyfriend. she didn't write to me.
she called her grandma. she wouldn't have even talked to me if I hadn't been in the room when she called. we talked for only about five minutes. then she wanted to go to bed.

I am surprisingly glad to have graduated late. Waiting helped to give me an extra appreciation for the significance of my diploma from Avalon. I was academically prepared at the ceremony but not emotionally ready to graduate. I wasn’t mentally prepared for life.
