“Junsu-ah, can I talk to you for a minute?”

Yoochun was leaning weakly on the school’s main gate, his bag on his shoulder. Junsu had no idea what he was doing here. His mind already summarized that Yoochun cut out the last class and went somewhere and didn’t want to see him. So what troubled him so much and brought him back fussily here?

“Sure” He followed the other man to the backyard behind the building.

“I’m afraid I made you feel uncomfortable.” He started.

“What the hell are you talking about?” Junsu frowned in confusion.

“Well, I always, you know, share almost everything with Jaejoong, and sometimes I told him about you,” he explained. Junsu was getting confused. “No! Not in that way. I mean, I told him when u almost fell from the stairs and so on, and he also recognized my actions toward you, and…” Yoochun’s words were barely coherent and Junsu was waiting for explanation. “He said I was being too nice to you to the extent of making you feel uncomfortable around me”

“What’s the problem of being too nice to me? I don’t get it.” Junsu cut.

“Well, you know. I’m a man and you’re also a man, and…” Yoochun now looked extremely anxious, really not his usual self. “..And I don’t know, Jaejoong said it will be uncomfortable for you.”

Junsu thought for a moment in silence.

“Yoochun-ah, listen to me. It’s true that you’re really very nice to me. But, so what? Coming to think about it, I’m actually the one who’s never good to you.” When he didn’t get a response, Junsu continued, “I have a solution! You don’t have to be that nice with me anymore, and as a replacement, let me be the one being nice to you! So we both feel happy! I’m a genius right? Whoa, I love my brain!” Junsu smiled so widely like he just saved human’s life from extinction. Even Yoochun couldn’t hold back his laugh.

“What’s so funny!? Aish! You always laugh at me no matter what I do, so frustrating.” He pouted and pretended to be annoyed. The truth was, he was so happy seeing that laugh again. One he missed most in the whole day.

“Sorry, Junsu-ah,” and he laughed again.

But it’s true that Junsu had no idea what made him laugh like that. He didn’t really care though.

“How could you see it that way? You’re really one amazing person,” he said after he stopped laughing.

“What? I don’t know what that means, but I’m really amazing. I agree with that,” Junsu smiled to him. “So, let’s go back home? I really need to sleep today before starting to study for tomorrow.” He patted Yoochun’s shoulder, and together they headed to the main gate, both feeling light and fluffy, like kids playing under the pouring rain, like kites flying away to the sky.

---
“Junsu-ah, come here.” Yoochun ordered. He was sitting on his own chair, drinking a can of soda in their lunch break time.

Junsu who was reading his textbook, trying to memorize all places and dates and people and everything inside for the sake of the upcoming Anthropology exam -that happened to be in the next twenty minutes, whined in annoyance.

“What do you want Yoochun-ah? I still have three pages left to memorize here,” he didn’t move from his seat, and kept locking his eyes to the page in front of him. “Hey, you promised me something yesterday, didn’t you?”

“Aish! You’re really…” Reluctantly he stood up and came to Yoochun, still holding the book in his hand. “Yeah, I do remember, okay, so what good thing I should do?”

“This one,” he gave him the light can, meaning it’s empty. “I’m too lazy to throw it. Beside I still have three pages to memorize.” He put out a mischievous smile.

“What the...” Junsu frowned. “You’re a royal pain, geez.”

However, he took the can and approached the trash can in front of the class. After throwing it there, he leaned on the wall beside and started reading again. He hopped those pages would stick in his mind quickly, because he had no time left.

A minute passed by and in all of a sudden Yoochun was already next to him.

“I’m starving. I’m going to the cafeteria.”

“You said you need to memorize three pages and now you want to eat?”

“So? I’ve already read them. There will be no problem.”

“Aish. What a head.” Junsu went back to reading again. He wondered how he could do something efficient like that. Read and it unified in his brain easily. Unfortunately that was not his talent.

“What are you thinking about now, Junsu-ah?” Yoochun asked passing by.

“Homo rhodesiensis, Rupert Murril, and…” he touched his tummy while reading the text in front of him. “...noodle breads with lots of mayo inside and cheese and… CRAP! You ruined my memorizing! Lord have mercy on me. Now I should start all over again. Crap.”

Junsu then went back to his chair, glanced a second to his watch, realized he should make it damn fast.

In the last five minutes, he was already in the last sentence. Sighing out of relieved, he closed the text book after finishing it and put it aside. He laid his head on the table and closed his tiring eyes. He really couldn’t stand memorizing. It wasn’t his thing.

And then he smelled something yummy; a perfect combination of fresh-from-the-oven slice bread, thick mayonnaise, barbeque scent of noodles and the melting cheese. He opened his eyes in a second and found his dream lying gracefully in front of him.

“Eat fast. You have only three minutes, Junsu-ah.” Yoochun said amused after looking at the boy’s priceless expression from his own seat.

“Yoochun-ah, I owe you my life…” he said thankfully with those puppy eyes and took a mouthful of noodle bread with no regret.

Junsu didn’t have any idea how blissfully Yoochun’s smile was behind him.

---
It was almost time.

Junsu was preparing in the backstage, already in his costume and make-up, looking like a real professional actor. But despite his amazing looks, he was actually throbbing so hard from the inside. This was not like any usual performance he had done before. It’s his first main role in the stage, and not only that, few important people from the media had been invited for the sake of the club that had its long history.

Junsu was extremely nervous. He was afraid he would forget his lines in the middle, or lose his voice’s pitch, or stumble over his own foot on the stage, or every other worse thing that came in his mind on and on and on.

Then he jumped out of his chair because something in his pocket vibrated.

“Holy smoke!” He took out the phone, two messages had been received.

Sender: Yoochun
Junsu-ah. Take a deep breath. You will do well :)

Sender: Yoochun
Junsu-ah. Are you alright? I’ll stand here. Look at me whenever you feel nervous. I can make you feel better.

The simple words gave him such warm feelings and strength to prove himself. He had no option for failures. It was always be his motto and thanks to God someone made him remember.

Send to: Yoochun
I will do my best! Thanks :)

And he stood up, feeling ready to go performing his other self under the silver lights of the stage.

---
The curtain was closing; most people were still standing and giving their ovation for an absolute incredible performance from a talented teenager. They shouted ‘ENCORE! ENCORE!’ all the time. When the casts came out again to greet the audience, the ovation became louder. People outside who didn’t have any idea what was going on might though that there was an earthquake inside.

Junsu was smiling, eyes shining brightly; though they’re wet with some tears of joy. But Yoochun was missing from his sight. He was nowhere to be found.

Junsu searched all over the seats, from the front to the back, left to the right, and vice versa. No result.

---
“Ladies and gentlemen, what a beautiful performance from the Art-Performing Club! Okay, okay, could I ask you respectfully to sit again in your seats and stop clapping? I need to tell you about the next performance and I can’t even hear my own voice here.” Changmin as the MC took over the attention. Half of the guests were confused with the unusual MC in the front, the other half were laughing.

“Junsu-ah, are you done? C’mon. I saved you a seat in the front,” Yunho came to the backstage in order to take Junsu’s out of there.

“What made you so kind to me all of a sudden?” Junsu asked suspiciously.

“Good Lord, Junsu! Who do you think I am? I’ve known you since you couldn’t put on your own pants for God’s sake!”

“Okay, okay! Can’t you shut up and forget about that moment? Oh, my…”

“Yeah, but get your duck-ass moving immediately.”

“Of course small-face, I’m done.”

They headed to the main hall and took their seats. They were close enough to see the stage clearly. The MC was still trying to keep the people calm using his own way.

“Ah! Such a good manner, ladies and gentlemen!” He said when at last the hall became quiet again. “Now we’re heading to the next amazing performance. Let’s give him applause: Park Yoochun from class 11-1!”

With that the hall became crowded again. All guests and students anticipated the performance, while the fan-girls of him already squealed so loud.

“Wow. I had no idea at all. He also performs?” Junsu’s heart was suddenly beating faster.

“Mm. Me too.” Yunho responded weirdly, but Junsu wasn’t aware.

The curtain was raised.

Yoochun sit on the tall chair in the middle of the stage, with blue-faded jeans, a tight black shirt and fedora hat. His hands pressed some keys on the keyboard.

Junsu couldn’t breathe.

He then took the mic pleasantly in a smooth way, one thing Junsu noted in mind: he’s effortlessly charming. And how he loved the way Yoochun treated the mic.

“Good afternoon all,” he greeted. The girls screamed.

“This is a self-composed song. I composed it in my mind while talking with a certain person,” and again the girl screamed. “Please enjoy.”

He opened the song with a sweet rap.

I’m just trying to say how much I do love you

I’ve been tease you so long that was my bad expressions to you

For just now,

Sitting here

Get relax
The day you gave me a blue tumbler like a puppy lover

Yeah~

With this coffee sweet imagine our future marriage and getting associated

Yeah~
Junsu was amazed and curious and jealous in the very same time. Yoochun started to sing the melody.

Baby~ Good morning

Every day I’ll wake you with the lovely call

I didn’t know how to cook but I can make you a song

And he smiled flirty in the last line. He’s definitely seducing.

They just don’t understand

Not even a clue

So I won’t stop

I’m the one who will be right there…

Let’s stay together

I love you so, I love you so

Walk with me ‘til the end of times

So let me be of your mine

Just let me please you
The instruments were playing for a moment. Yunho patted his shoulder.

“Don’t you think the girl is lucky, eh? Even I don’t like this guy but he can surely sing and make a good song.”

“Definitely, small-face. Now can you stop talking? I want to hear the song.” He tried to hide the bitter tone in his voice. Yunho just told him the truth, and he felt like he was breaking.

“Aish. Bad mood again, huh?” And with that he closed his mouth.

Everything will gonna be fine

God gave me answer of my life

Look at me

You’re lovely I can tell so

One day it will come true

Baby, never gonna make you cry

I do love you so much I do baby

Just walk with me

Follow me

Just let me please you

I love you,

Oh baby.
Applause once again echoed through the room, even drowned the screams of every fangirl. People just fell in love with this guy.

Junsu hardly made his hands clapping. He knew for sure Yoochun’s performance was incredible, great, amazing, and so on. But he preferred not to see it.

He took a sight at him; he looked so… madly in love?

Junsu gulped his saliva, hopped it would also devour his soundless cries.

“Yunho-ah, I have some business to do. I’ll go first.” He stood up and get away of the seat. He fasted up his steps, leaving the main hall as soon as he could.

---
The rain was pouring so hard outside.

The event was over with success. Both parties, Art Performing Club and The School Committee, thanks to him for his endless effort and enthusiastic participation. He was happy for that, surely.

The difference was, whenever and however he smiled, his heart was dying in steady pain.

All the crew and other members already left home. He was all alone. But he didn’t have any intention of going anywhere, nor to stay there. He didn’t know what he wanted. Life suddenly was just gray. The purpose of it became blurry and faded away. And still, he thought about him.

‘What is he doing? The girl will surely accept his feelings. Well, maybe they are in a date now. Such a perfect situation, right?’

He looked out of the window; the torrent of rain calmed only a bit. The sky was dark, same with the vicinity of his soul. He wondered, will it be a good idea to bath his lifeless body under the rain? He was so sure nature knew better than him: way to fix a broken heart.

So he pulled his unwilling feet to the door, dragging them outside.

---
He was walking so slowly, didn’t want to feel the time passing by. His eyes locked at his own steps and his head drooped down. Rain was pouring all over him.

“What are you doing!?”

Junsu raised his head up, narrowing his eyes to get a more vivid picture of a person running to his place.

It was him.

“Junsu, oh my God! What the hell are you thinking!? You can get sick!” Yoochun held an umbrella, and he quickly took Junsu under it with him. He hugged him firmly, tight, and close in the back, like he would be gone if he loosened his grip of the man.

But Junsu didn’t budge even an inch. His head drooped down again.

“What’s wrong, Junsu-ah?” Yoochun knew that the umbrella was useless, for the other didn’t care about the rain drenching him so bad. He dropped it on the ground, intensely looking at Junsu. “Hey, look at me.” He took his chin up, and was surprised to see such a sorrow vividly painted on his face, and he couldn’t bear anymore and took him in his arms.

Junsu sobbed so softly, trying to muffle it so much but he just couldn’t.

“Yoochun-ah,” he said with his chin still in the other’s shoulder. His voice was more like whimper as it was barely heard, mixed with his heavy breath. “Aren’t you supposed to be with her? That girl you sang a song for. You shouldn’t be here. Even if we’re really good friends, you don’t need to take care of me like this.”

With that statement Yoochun pulled off. He looked Junsu in the eyes as such enlightenment got inside of him. He understood precisely now what exactly was happening, his plans were total failure and he should explain it clearly to the boy in front of him.

Yoochun pulled his wrist and lead him under the big pine tree over. A smile was all over his face.

“Junsu shut your mouth and listen to me. The person I thought of when composing the whole song was you. The person I addressed dearly in the song was you. The person I wanted to walk with me until the end was you. The person who answered my life was you. You, Kim Junsu, are my everything.” His eyes were as bright as ever, hair still wet from the pouring rain, but his smile as warm as the shining sun.

Junsu felt like he was not in the earth anymore. Because all objects around him became fuzzy, fading away in every passing second with only Yoochun left behind. Because he felt so light he could fly away without wings. Because he felt like dreaming with his both eyes open. And because he was loved by the love of his life.

“Junsu-ah? Aren’t you... supposed to say something?” Yoochun started to worry and his smile slowly disappeared.

Junsu needn’t to wait for any second to pull the other’s face close, kiss him near gently, near passionately. Yoochun who was surprised for the sudden act of his lover groaned in euphoria. He didn’t wait for Junsu to prepare himself for the next one.

Yoochun pushed Junsu gently on the tree behind them, so he could lean there comfortably. While in the other hand, his kisses were not near comfortable. With his tongue, he opened Junsu’s closed mouth. Junsu moaned heavily when Yoochun inspected his cavern, his tongue licked everywhere inside like there’s no tomorrow. Their mouth moved in the same pace, each tried to feel more of the other. All of their enormous affection that was restrained since so long ago completely broke out from its shield and covered every move they took towards each other.

“Junsu-ah,” Yoochun whispered crushing his lips in the other’s neck.

“Ah.” His lover squeaked. “Call me again. Call me again, Yoochun.” He closed his eyes in pleasure, feeling the most of it. Those lips he always imagined all over him was now on him, it was happening.

Yoochun bit his earlobe lightly and tasted it, whispering again. “Junsu-ah, when you’re laughing by my side,” his mouth trailed Junsu’s jaw line with endearment, “I always look at your smile.”

Junsu strengthened his hug over the other’s neck, while arching up his own.

“Yeah, baby,” he kissed the base of Junsu’s throat, while his fingers opening the buttons below one by one. “How long I’ve been waiting to call you mine.”

Junsu rubbed Yoochun’s long neck, moving to his hair, messing it up with his fingers then he touched his ears seductively.

“I was born- ,” Yoochun’s lips sucked on his again, hands touching the bare skin under his shirt. “-in order to protect you, Junsu-ah,” he pulled out of the kiss, gazed deeply into the other’s eyes, “to the extent that you will be amazed.” He reached Junsu’s face with both hands, whispering to his mouth.

“And there is nothing wrong with this ordinary love, because I will be by your side, forever.”

In those very moments, nothing could describe Junsu’s feelings. Thousands words were only for his kind eyes. Millions words were only for his warm smile. Even so, there’s nothing in this world that could make him forget this day. All cells in his body would recognize every single touch of him, recall them in each second of life, and never ever erase them from his memory.

“I love you too, Chunnie.” He hugged his boyfriend tightly.

“I like Chunnie. And I do love you even more, Baby-Su.”

“What was that?? So cheesy!!”

“But you like it, I know.” He pulled his Baby-Su closer. They then sat under the tree; Junsu was inside his legs and arms.

“You should search other names. I may get bored with that.”

“Your order, baby,” and he linked his arms around Junsu and smelled the scent of him. They both looked at the now clear sky; the rain had completely stopped and left so much freshness in the air.

“Ah, I forget to tell you. Jaejoong has a secret crush on your friend. What do you think, Baby-Su?”
