R.I.P. Eichmann Strickland (20 June 1985 - 9 Sep 2008)

Hospitalman 3rd Class (HM3) Strickland was a great sailor, medic, friend, brother, comrade, son, and most importantly a human being who was always jovial regardless of the situation. He made positive impacts on many individuals' lives...including mine. May he rest in peace. You will never be forgotten my friend!

HM3 Strickland was an outstanding Sailor!!!! He touched the lives of not only the Sailors but also the Marines here in Iwakuni. Rest in Peace, Strick. You will always be in our hearts!!!!!

Hi---I am Eichy aunt Kathie. The family is trying to cope with the lost of Eichy. It is still hard to believe that he is gone. I was hoping and praying that nothing would happen to him, but it did, what a shame. He had a very bright future ahead of him. We will miss him. Thank you for your kind thoughts, We Loved him.
The Obiturary will be published on Sunday in the Hearld, that is the local newspaper in Everett, Wa. The funeral, will be held, September 27, 2008 as 11:00 a.m. at Northshore Christian church in Everett, interment following at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Everett. WE were so so sorry to here the news about Eichy, He was such a kind young man. I could see why he went into the medical field, he was just that kind of person. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Strickland was one of the BEST friends I have ever had.

He brought so much positive energy, love, and laughter into my life.

I miss him so much I just cannot believe it.

Ike was such a great friend and I wish I had told him how I felt about him ealrier in the year before he left. I love you so much Ike. I'll see you soon!

I worked with HM3 when he was stationed at Camp Pendleton and it really has grieved me to hear that he has passed. I give my condollences to the family and i want you to know what a great young man you raised. His light always shined no matter what happened. God bless the strickland family.
