I think it's magic. You wrap the eggs in the silk ties and boil them with vinegar and it just transfers the print!

Those are pretty awesome. Have you thought about trying to find white eggs at an eco store? Those usually are not stamped. The brown eggs we get from our eco store are brought it by local farmers and have no stamps on them. A thought.

A friend of mine who paints goose eggs gets big white eggs she blows out to paint on them. I wonder where she gets em. Hmm...

There is a swan with a next around the corner. Shall I risk my life to get you some really cool big eggs? LOL!

Haha swans and geese are mean, I'd feel really bad at your funeral if you sacrificed yourself for me *L* I've found blown eggs on eBay, they're not terribly expensive.

Can you re-use the silk ties or once they've been soaked in the vinegar they're done?

You are supposed to be able to reuse them, but I think it depends on the tie. The lighter ones I don't suspect will transfer very well multiple times, but the really vibrant ones I think would work!
