I think I have heard the name before. You know, I can see cranky being a pattern of yours, too, what with Snape and Boober.
And, four fandoms for you, should you choose to meme about them! Slings & Arrows, Avatar: The Last Airbender, the Iliad, and The Lady's Not For Burning.
Unrelatedly, you know Theatre@First is doing The Lady's Not for Burning in February?
I will not kill you! I will ask you for fandoms. (But for the sake of producing interesting answers... try not to give me questions whose answers are Bran, Fakir or Lyra.)
Well played. I think the only one I actually can pin down to a clear favorite off the top of my head is Orphan's Tales, and even there I have a close second choice. I shall ponder.

Have you read Carol Kendall's The Gammage Cup (1959)?

It's a children's novel; it has problems, but it does some unusual things and you might like my favorite character. He has awesome powers of cranky.

Hmmm. Naomi Novik's Temeraire series, Mabinogion, Orphan's Tales, Avatar: The Last Airbender
That was difficult, given the number of additional fandoms I have rejected by dint of already knowing enough of your answer for them.

I first saw her stuff at ArtBeat, back when she was still in the area. I couldn't the little robots, bought a votive holder with one.

...Unrelatedly, did you know that Lush is selling little bath bombs in the shape of robots?
