kantrina (pronounced kntrina, no vowel between k and n.. just a quick transition between the Kuh and Ennn .. knnn. kntrina.)

kertina.

thats what happens when you say my  name quick without thinking.

haha, the only miss i ever have is people saying katerina instead of katrina...and i feel bad for a girl in one of my classes who is named katerina, and since i'm first on the attendance her name ends up being katrina too, lol

You could have just told me I pronounced your name wrong. You didn't have to post a blog about it...Besides, what's the big difference between "katrina" and "robert". It's just my accent.

elisa. just looking at it, you could assume its spanish and make the "i" sound like "EEEEEE"
my neighbors all call me elise- (or pronounced 'Ah-leese")
they think its really my name, and i dont have the balls to correct them.
at art awards ceremonies i was called ELIZA... no lie.
(theres a hole in my bucket dear 'liza dear 'liza... this song always comes to mind)
alot of people call me melissa. (??? where do you hear the m????)
i tell them its melissa without the m.
that confuses them... then they ask me how i spell it--- and then they look at me like i have 8 heads.
i have been asked if my name is short for something-- (yeah- elisa is short for elisaluppagus.. what the heck??? )

maybe being called mommy isnt so bad.... i'll even take "hey you" over eliza.
just dont call me late for supper ;0P
