worldofscribble. Write a Tanka.
Leaves fall between us,
Cover, a slow obscuring.
So many secrets,
Mocking whispers, will they tell?
Once part of us, but no more.
Author's Note: I'm not sure why, but I've had trees on the mind lately. Plus, I'm currently reading Shōgun by James Clavell, so the Japanese poetry seemed to fit right in
