This was fun! I kind of felt sorry for Jeff. Hayden seems like a little bit of a tool. Their relationship felt very believable, though, and I liked that Jeff still looked out for his brother (even if it was in a teasing way) and felt bad about scaring the girl.

Actually, you were one of the Flisters I was thinking of regarding Jeff, Hayden, annd their mixed history. Remember that guy that sent me a random text years ago looking for a girl named Melissa, and then wanted my picture? LOL

I liked the garage door trick.

Hayden seems like kind of a tool to me too, though I suspect that is often the case with younger sibs anyway. ;)

Thank you! The garage door trick was my way of softening that whole scene a bit, so that it was more about the joke than Jeff barging in. Plus, it was fun to write. :)
