I want to have kidlets with this fic. Like, dozens of them.
I'd say this was definitely worth the wait, if I weren't too anxious that it might encourage you to wait just as long with the next chapter ;-)
No, but seriously, if I had to, I'd wait til my own retirement to see this story finished. You broke my heart countless times in this chapter, but most of all with the idea of Ryan being a affectionate, curious, upbeat and Seth-like kid until the shooting. I still strongly suspect that it wasn't Trey who actually held the gun, but like Sandy I feel that I'm definitely missing something.
Loved especially Summer hugging Sandy and Ryan's "Hi(gh)" conversation.
So, I can see that Sandy needed someone he didn't need to lie to, and someone who could run interference with Seth, so I begrudgingly give you letting Summer in to see Ryan, as long as she doesn't get all the confidential info.
I'm not so much thinking about what Sandy will do once he connects the dots...I'm wondering how much more story and worry and angst there is going to be before we find out how Sandy connects the dots! I foresee many many many more chapters in your future, oh wise and wonderful much!!
(I'm thinking you ought to just tell us the story verbally when we see you this summer....)
Summer won't find out about the shooting....probably. hee
It's gonna definitely be a few more chapters. I still have two days to go before K and S even get back into town, Let's see....should be another three years.
Thanks for all the wonderful feedback!
:o)
And no way am I spilling this summer. bwaaahaahaaa
Oh my god, this story is so good. I read this from the beginning and was patiently waiting (lurking) for updates, and this was so worth waiting. I like it that you don't rush through the events, slowly developing the plots, because this is so dramatic and heartbreaking. Thank you for allowing me to read.

Lurkers are welcomed with open arms in the snowglobe....I appreciate you letting me know you are reading and enjoying the story.
And I'm glad the pacing is working for you. Sometimes I worry it is too slow and thus boring.
