this is great... I just reread the whole thing yesterday and thought to myself, that it will take another couple of years to be completly finished.... since there is still so much to talk about (shooting)..... but its awesome..... thanx for the update...looking forward to part 14 and the years to come ;-)

I have been toying with shorter chapters...but more often.

What do you think?

It might get me more focused rather than feeling like I have to churn out 10,oo words in order to keep flow/pace.

hmmm shorter chapters? though choice..... I would say yeah go for it... so I can read some stuff sooner..... but u are right...it is somehow disruptiv to the flow.... u know....u cant really get the story going along with short chapters... no I guess...long chapters are better.... more fun....I wouldnt even mind u taking a year and then giving us everything at once or like updates every week or so....

You know I was basically kicking myself in the ass for not pulling an Atwood (the non-Ryan kind) on you and just stealing your phone while I had the chance. I can't believe the new chapter is finally there.
And the story lost none of it's gripping quality at all.

I loved your Seth in this part. He was just so "Seth-like"...all concerned about Sandy, when in reality he was really thinking about himself and what he could weasel out of Summer.

Neil is a wonderfully written character as well.
