I have just discovered that my ex has 'taken back' yet another thing he'd given to me as a present. This time it's a necklace that he's had shipped over from New Zealand for my birthday last year. I'm not ungrateful, but when he asked me what sort of thing I liked, I said I didn't mind, as long as it was silver. Of course he got a great big gold

I know someone who proposed to three different women with the same ring (not an heirloom or anything). I know because I was the first of the three. The third time, it apparently worked well because they're now married with children.
