a question for anyone who cosplays....need an opinion!

How do you feel about people cosplaying as an original character(based of a particular anime though)?....the last day of Dragon*Con I was dressed in a ninja-ish get-up with a sand village forehead protector, and it was fun,so...I thought about creating an original naruto character from the village of rain-maybe with a black parasol so I can imitate

That might be cool.. I'd say it's better than seeing the same ninja over and over from a show about ninjas with variety. If you want, I've got an Ouroboros headband, so you can be from the village hidden in eternity. :P

hmm....well, I already have a sand village one (actually bought it at Dragon*Con and wore it Monday...so probably going with sand village (plus I like their shoes...and they seem to have a slightly higher rate of blond hair as well-so far)...heh...either way I go...I'll just let it be a surprise <^-'>
