It's very weird to read news stories now and see the phrase "President Obama" and not "President Bush". There's this weird kind of mental jerk I go through. It doesn't help that Bush's time in office has given the title "President" a bad connotation in my mind

man stupid work, I don't have time to sleep and geek out over obama stuff. work is the one thing I don't care about at all. if only I were independently wealthy.

by the way, my cab didn't show up. Just as I was about to shit myself on the street, I managed to hail a van. Got him just in time, because 15 other people tried to hail the same van once I was in it.

I'm starting to wish I had missed the plane after all :)
