I am so confused by parents. They are bloody stupid! I mean...I have 19 credits this semester and apparently getting a high B in Anatomy and Lab is not good enough. I'm supposed to have As and be completely incapacitated...be unsociable and study all the time.

My philosophy? IT WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH. So just worry about doing well enough for you and your college to think you are doing well. Shit, I had five classes and a 14-hour-a-week part-time job, and I wrote a novel in the month of November, and my mom still thought I was a lazy asshole because I let the things she thinks are important slide a little. Like LAUNDRY. And PICKING UP DISHES. And I'm like, Look, I will be more than happy to pick up all my cups once finals are over. In the meantime, if they aren't growing fuzz, I say let them lay. Trying to learn the history of civilization here! Gosh! Also I will be bitched at to no end for how I did in Ceramics, because god knows you should never attempt anything if there is EVEN THE SLIGHTEST CHANCE you might not be AMAZINGLY BRILLIANT AT IT right off the bat
