Time to start panicking!

Uhh, so I came to the realisation last night that we have only 7 weeks until Supanova. Which is awesome. But, that means that:
a) I have to build my cosplay costume in that time;
b) I have to lose a shitload of weight to fit into my cosplay costume so I don't look awful (well, what I think would look awful anyway, because I'm quite self conscious).

omg I know D: Are you going this year?

oh man, I had to scrub my hands so much and there is still blue staining on my nails. Matt got a packet from 7eleven, not sure if they're available anywhere (I'd be thinking so). But, uh, they're blue all the way D: Yuh...

Planning to, I've put my name down to volunteer again so we'll see...

Wow. Hm, I may keep an eye out for them then.

Oh I'm like you, I need to go to the gym! I haven't been able to really exercise since mid January. Bum legs and feet will do that to ya. I need to move fast. I haven't been able to run, dash, jump, hop, etc since then. It's kinda slowly killing me on the inside. Sometimes I'll forget I'm wearing this boot and I'll try to move quickly. XD

If you do long periods of high aerobic exercise every other day you should burn some off in 7 weeks I think? Get that heart rate up and keep it there for awhile. I enjoy using the elliptical, you can read while doing it.

We'll get there, dude, we'll get there. I stand quite a lot at work (while teaching) and my leg still gets so swollen D: I cannot wait for that to sort itself out. I still have to be careful about overdoing it because it twinges and aches, but I think I should be ok to get back to most exercise at least. Hell, if I can go back to soccer (and play in goals) then I'm sure I can get my ass to the gym. I just find it hard to keep the motivation and the energy to go, especially after a really long day teaching, and then lesson prep when I get home. I miss dog walking. It was fun, I got paid, and it kept me fit ( ... )

Sure you can do it! Just stick to it! Go Go Go!

Soccer? Just gotta say I thought Australians called it football and only us lame Americans called it soccer. Unless you did that for my benefit. XD

It's going OK I suppose. Day to day activity doesn't really bother me anymore, I just can't be very agile on it yet. I stand on it just fine and it really doesn't swell much anymore. If it does it's only a little at the toe and joint, not the whole foot anymore. I even walk a little without the boot around the house, no real problems. Can only move at a regular speed though.

I really hope I can get rid of this toe spacer tomorrow at the doctor cause I've been wearing it for a month now and it's getting prettttty funky. I can only remove it when I take a shower. It's kinda like a rubber gel like thing so I guess it absorbs odors easy. I'm not saying my feet are smelly (cause they're not!) but when you have something between your toes for a month non stop it starts to get weird. XD

Nah, we tend to call it soccer here, mostly because football is what we call AFL (footy). Which I loathe. Some people do call soccer 'football' here, but it's not nearly as widely used as it is in the UK. Outdoor soccer some tend to call 'fussball' (pron. foose-ball), but that's not so common outside of those that actually play it. Hmm... I think because in the UK they don't really have any other foot-ball related sports, so it's not so confusing, whereas we have rugby and footy (urgh to both lol ( ... )
