No. Solarization is a feature of my photo-editing software (and can be done manually in the darkroom by exposing the develoiped but not "fixed" image to light very briefly). It is a technique of which I am very fond.
Ah yes... The monitor... Having just replaced my old and very dark monitor with a fancy-schmancy new one which allows me to actually see my photos, it is like suddenly discovering that I have been wearing sunglasses for the past 6 years! Unfortunately, it also means that I have to go back and re-edit a lot of my older images....
