I hate being in this f*cking cave.  My parents don't let me do anything.

I can't even go for a fucking walk to square one.
It's broad daylight, but it's too dangerous.

And oh, they won't let me drive either.  GREAT!  Am I supposed to even get around?

If I can't rely on myself, what the hell do they want?
They bitch saying I always ask them for ( Read more... )

The reason why you listen is because they are still your parents and no matter what we do, nothing in this world can change that. So no matter how we feel, us (as in Chinese people) seem to have a biological need to submit to our parents. Especially if your a female. This is something that sorry to say I dont expect to see change until you move out. It may quite honestly take that I am sorry to say. Perhaps you should focus on the more obvious good things, your going to university soon and will no longer be at home as often to hear such nagging, and you will soon have very legitamite reasons for not being home at a certain hour (ie. school). Good luck and may God keep you safe, I hope everything works out for you.

I know how you feel; basically my situation is the similar and it's driving me crazy. But it's like being held in held in a headlock or something; the more I struggle (aka rebel), the more things my parents will take away from me. I guess they have our best interests at heart but damnit is it ever annoying. And it's frustrating because they're your parents so there's this untouchability.

Mine ALWAYS know where I am. My mom once made my dad drive to school to check that my car was still there (I was doing an extracurricular) because she thought I had gone off and done bad-angry-teenager activities. Wtf.
