All that zazen WILL show is this exact truth. Steady zazen penetrates and destroys our illusions, it hastens the end.

I am addicted to emotions. There's something about feeling angry or aroused or sad or ANYTHING that affirms self-centered thinking, that affirms my separate Being in the face of the harsh winds of Non-Being. Self-centered thinking posits me as the lead role of an important dream called my past, my present, my future.

I have sad news. Gen's younger brother Jut might have urachal cancer, a rare form of bladder cancer (Cancer Site). Last Monday (11/10/03), a specialist scoped his bladder via Jut's penis. The NBA season opens tomorrow and we bought an Xbox last sunday. So, Gen and I HAD to buy NBA Street Vol. 2. The trash talking isn't as bad as Kobe and Shaq, but the hoops are intense. Gen and I watched the Celtics play last nite. This was the first preseason game since the Walker/Delk trade to the Mavs. I was surprised and happy. The Big Green pushed the ball down the court, outscored the Timberwolves in the paint, and The Truth was NOT our leading scorer. Very cool...Friday we play the Nets and Kidd.
