You've seen this before.
But what does it mean?

When DaVinci drew this, he had a fine understanding of the human body, most likely due to the fact that he was a "grave robbing" heretic.

None the less, his understanding of the human body, in my eyes, vaugely depicts Fibonaccis sequence. The two are, in fact, often confused.

DaVincis' theory of PHI describes that all plants, animals, and the sort follow the pattern as follows:

The smallest of a certain segment will always equal 1.618 when rationalized with the next largest segment.

In Laymans terms, in a sea-shell if you pick out one segment and divide its diameter by its succeeding segment, you'll always get 1.618.

Fibonaccis' sequence, similarly describes the relationship between numbers in a pyramid form:

1-1-2-3-5-8-13-21...

Obviously, the two theorys are related. Even more such as depicted in the picture below:

Go into the shower and prove it to yourself that this is true.

Measure from your head to toe.
Then measure from your navle to your toe.
Divide the two measurements and what you get will be PHI.

PHI= 1.618
