In which I 'm feeling sorry for myself... Oh and knitting!

Excellent news... I'm not trapped at home all alone today. Not wishing to sound ungrateful for my 5 week summer holiday, but I hate the Summer holidays! It's so long, and I get so bored. There is only so much tidying up I can do, before a messy boy comes along and wrecks it all anyways. This week is the worst as my best teacher friend and baking

Have you decided how you want to decorate the nursery yet? I know its a yellow lentil, but have you chosen a theme or not bothering?

My parents are lending us the money for a deposit on a house, so we might be moving. If we're still in this house it will stay as it is, since we're not allowed to paint. Cream walls, beige carpet...

If we move I'd like a kinda jungle/animal theme... though you're not supposed to paint too close to the birth as the fumes aren't good for Lentils (or their pregnant mummies)

That would be cute.. animals are awesome. Have you looked at any houses yet?

I went to look at a couple last Friday. Neither were perfect, but were about what we could afford. The cheaper one wasn't in a nice area, the other was really close to where I am now, but had very steep steps inside and a pretty small garden.

I'm in two minds as to whether we need to rush into buying something now to have it all sorted by January for when the baby arrives, or to wait and look again next summer when there isn't so much pressure on us to get everything sorted in 5 1/2 months... Oh and my parents go away next week and aren't back until 4th Sept... so that kinda puts our finances on hold for a little while at least.
