it's because people are afraid of gay people. it's like they think it's some contagious disease. or that they are trying to convert everyone. fuck that. also there's the whole "well the bible says it's a sin." there are a lot of components. all of which make absolute no sense to me, but then again i'm biased aren't i?

it's better than it used to be, which gives the slight hope that someday it won't be an issue at all. but until then we'll just have to deal with the ignorance.
