I did laugh at your escalating list of misfortunes, I'm afraid, but I'm sorry it was so lousy. Yes, things could be much, much, much worse, but I think you're still allowed to feel physically uncomfortable/ disappointed/fed up.

I was going to message you the other day with ARE YOU OKAY when I saw the land slides. But then I saw they were diverting all traffic through Skenes Creek, so I thought it musn't have been so bad.

Lol yeah, landslides sound dramatic, but it was really just a bunch of rocks falling on the road. Enough to need to close the road, but not really much to get excited about. :)

I get the rain-beach thing. I am, allegedly, living in the sunshine state, but for a good portion of the year that is a filthy rain soaked lie.

Hey, we were supposed to be in Hall's Gap this week, but we went earlier instead (and got cooked climbing in the heat). This week has been horribly damp at home, but nothing compared to how it would have been in HG. *shivers*
