My uncle asked me to think of (and I quote): "a good quote for the "Teens" page of my psychotherapy practice website. I have some other inspirational quotes about sorting through things, figuring out life & relationships, etc. but they're all by old people. that would be awesome -- it's also kind of geared towards people who would be the ones skimming/reading the teen section of a psychotherapy website, so I don't know how much "mainstream" is really required. -- any and all efforts are greatly appreciated :) <3 <3

WELL, I seem to remember you telling us that your mom said, "It's not what you want to do. It's what you want to do first," or similar, which was super helpful during the college application process and I still sometimes think about (like when deciding on a major). It sure makes important decisions that much easier.
However, not everyone knows your mom, which could prove to be a problem if the speaker is supposed to be recognizable.

Yay! I told my mom about this, and she thought it was rather sweet that people are using what she said. I think she was mainly surprised, but I was rather proud, lol. I'll definitely be mildly narcissistic and include my mom's quote, though. ;P -- It is a good one, though. Thank you for reminding me!! :)
