012. Chains, Heechul/Kangin
Super Junior members are sneaky. Especially when it involves moving into other dorms. This time it involved Kangin, Leeteuk, Siwon and Eunhyuk moving into a new dorm, but also Hankyung, Kibum and Heechul -who had a dorm for their own till now- moving in with them. As Siwon and Leeteuk went to peek into the new apartment first Siwon told, not asked, told, Leeteuk that he, Hankyung and Kibum were going to share a room together. ‘Fine, only if I can share a room with Eunhyuk !’ Leeteuk replied, Siwon shrugged, he was not Eunhyuk so he didn’t give a damn.
In some miraculous way the two leftover members, Heechul and Kangin, had schedule all day when they moved. So the others had all space for themselves as they settled as wished and carelessly dropped Heechul and Kangin’s stuff in their room.
‘NOW WHAT’S THIS ?!’ Heechul yelled louder than needed as the others were barely 3 meters away from him and both him and Kangin sent the others death glares. ‘Since when don’t we talk about how the rooms are going to be anymore ?’ ‘Since we all choose and were not going to change it ?’. They all expected Heechul to continue his tirade, but he just pulled Kangin along. ‘You guys really disappointed me, come on Kangin, let’s clean up our stuff’ Kangin just followed.
Once in their room they both were silent, they felt weird. It was not like they hated each other, but they were a bit disappointed with the others’ ignorance. ‘Let’s just unpack already…’ Heechul suggested after a while. Kangin nodded and grabbed the first bag he could find that belonged to him and turned it upside down. He stared in disbelief at the floor that was now covered in his collection of key chains, he didn’t mean to empty that one first. He didn’t mean to empty it at all, actually. ‘What ?! Do you collect key chains ?! No ! Seriously ?’ Heechul shook Kangin’s shoulder as he didn’t answer. ‘Yes, I do’ Kangin murmured. ‘That’s like WOW ! Me too !’ ‘Really ?’ Kangin peeked at Heechul, you could never know when he was playing a prank on you. ‘Yeah ! Wait I’ll show them to you’ Heechul rumbled around in his stuff and it took him a while to find the right back then emptied it next to Kangin’s pile, making sure they wouldn’t get mixed up.
The others in the living room long forgot about the two as they were chatting in the living room. At first they didn’t notice the knocks on the wall as the TV was turned on as well. But when it started knocking on two places on the wall, changing positions all the time and kept going for a long time they started wondering. After half an hour they started worrying. ‘Maybe they’re knocking each other to death !’ Siwon supported a shocked facial expression and Leeteuk went to check just to make sure. He knocked on the door which was opened soon by Heechul with a hammer in his hand. ‘What are you doing with that hammer ?!’ Leeteuk almost screamed, making Siwon come to check if everything was all right. ‘Knocking nails into the wall ?’ Heechul said as innocently as he could. ‘Why ?’ ‘You’ll see, bye Teuk’ Heechul slammed then locked the door.
‘It looks good right ?’ Heechul and Kangin both studied the wall they had been working on for hours and they were satisfied. They had knocked literally hundreds of little nails into the wall and hung all their key chains on them. There were many empty nails but those were yet to be filled as they hoped their collection would grow. Suddenly somebody knocked on their door loudly. ‘Hey ! Are you guys all right ?’ Leeteuk asked from the other side of the door. ‘Blah !!’ Heechul answered. ‘Guys, Leeteuk is worried !’ Suddenly Hankyung’s voice was there. And Heechul still had a weak spot for his friend so he opened the door, Hankyung and Leeteuk sighting in relief. ‘What have you been doing all this time ? You haven’t unpacked yet ?!’ Leeteuk stated as he saw the bags on the floor. ‘Oh, no, why should we ?’ Hankyung suddenly noticed their wall and showed it to Leeteuk. Both their jaws dropped. ‘So in the end what’s happe- KEY CHAINS !’ Eunhyuk shouted in excitement as he immediately noticed the wall. Kangin and Heechul just smirked proudly.
