035. Blind, Heechul/Shiwon
Heechul tried his best to spend equal time with his Super Junior band mates as with FT Island’s Hongki, who was known to be a good friend of Heechul. He wasn’t really a genius in equally dividing things, which caused his members to complain about it. Even in public. But Heechul still loved his band mates and considered them his brothers, so every now and then he’d surprise them anywhere.
That was also what he was trying to do to Siwon (surpise him) as he knew the younger had a meeting at the SME office. He waited for him on the hall way but a copying machine which happened to be standing there attracted his attention. Some office woman turned it on and walked away, allowing Heechul to study the machine. Something that ‘caught his eye’ was the strong light that came out of it every time, to copy the paper properly.
He was still totally concentrating on the machine as Siwon came out of the meeting room. ‘Hyung ! What are you doing here ?’ ‘Hm ? Oh ! I was waiting for you, but I saw this thing here’ He pointed at the copying machine and Siwon raised his eyebrows. ‘It’s a copying machine’ ‘I know’ ‘Well…that’s nothing special, is it ?’ ‘Well, no. But I was looking’ Heechul turned around to focus on the machine again ‘Look, there’s this light every time’ ‘That light is to make the copy’s clear’ ‘Whatever, but why is it so strong ? It’s almost blinding !’ ‘Well, you’re not supposed to be staring at it like that in the first place. Other than that, I think it must be this strong to capture all the details on the paper’ ‘It hurts my eyes. Let’s get out of here. Should we go have a drink ?’ ‘Don’t you have any schedules ?’ ‘Yes, I have to meet Hongki later. But we have time, come on, I have to spend time with my brother’ Siwon grinned and shrugged as he walked after Heechul to the exit.
