i got rejectedat rice!!! haha yey i don't care about that place! i got into notre dame!!! just have to wait for financial aid, but if it's anything like vanderbilt i'll be set. i'm still going to vanderbilt this weekend and i guess that will be fun regardless. and i can still learn about engineering in general. plus i don't know for sure about ( Read more... )

sweeney could probably tell you more about it, but it's a school in houston and apparently it's pretty selective i guess. i never really had any huge urge to go there though

kos it's a really good school so i would have gone there if i hadn't gotten into some of the other places, but that ended up being a bad plan since it's the only one i didn't get into

How does someone with a 15XX SAT not get into a school? That's pretty stupid. My mom just bought me a bunch of Western State t-shirts and bumper stickers (including Western State Cross Country and Track ones), so I hope I can run there for at least a while.

haha i dno, they might not have gotten my test scores actually. because i don't remember ever listing them to receive the score when i took the SAT. the same thing happened with johns hopkins, i got an email saying they didn't have my scores but then a week later i got an email saying i got in. so i guess rice is a little bit picky about sending in the part of your application that's like 25% of their decision. that's funny about the clothes, it'll be the same for me if i don't get good moneys from notre dame kos i'll go to vanderbilt and i have a lot more green than yellow
