i tought myself spanish 2 in high school over the summer so i could go straight to 3...thanks to ms. carr.

spanish is a super easy language to learn, you just need to get your hands on some text books...which could be just as expensive as the computer program i guess...lol.

french or spanish or german... since those are the most common western languages in the world

french probably, because in spain, they speak english, in germany, they speak english, in italy, they speak english, in france, they speak french.. hahha

so it would be useful for when i go back to europe

Yes, I'd like to know what language you're interested in.

After decently knowing French, I found it a lot easier to understand Spanish and even quite a bit of Italian. If I have children I'm hoping to raise them to be trilingual from the start.

french

trilingual? that means you have to become fluent in two other languages before they are born! it would be cool. i think it is more useful than most people believe

Yea, I think it would be easy to pick up Spanish. I can speak a little bit with my friends at work and Jacob, and Jacob is pretty good with Spanish, and his Dad is fluent. Perhaps if he ends up being my husband, any kids could get both languages from us.

And I mean, I don't know anybody who regrets knowing another language so I don't think they would be unhappy.
