Actually oddly enough the first time I saw Charley Boorman he reminded me of Keith Duffy!

Ahh that's really odd, I think it must be the deep set eyes and straggly hair that does it!

Hi Shellie---I love your story about poking holes in the wall.
Dad's seem to know everything, don't they??

I can't remember doing anything really bad, except, and my parents never knew it, when a new house was being built, the basement would be up, and had spaces for the windows. Of course it was a long drop off into the basement and the other side of the wall was a narrow trench.
We would get on top of the wall and walk around the edge and jump the windows.
Now if we fell, it would be a long way down and probably would really get hurt or worse.

They never knew that I did this!!!

The dancing guys could be back up for Britney Spears!!! LOL
I have never seen or heard of these guys, though...

Haha, well mysterious holes appearing in the wallpaper, it was quite obviously me, I don't know what I was thinking!

Children are always getting into scrapes, and taking risks is what growing up is all about, it helps us learn about the world and learn from mistakes :o) Now children are being wrapped up in cotton wool and aren't allowed to do anything if they might hurt themselves, but they are going to get a big shock when they grow up and get hurt for the first time, they need to do it!

Haha, that first TV appearance is pretty embarrassing. Boyzone were huge in the UK when I was a teenager, now they've got back together and it seems I still like them!

There are some schools in the States where the kids can't even play tag on the playground as they might get hurt...

I use to roller skate on the cement with no shin guards or head gear. We fell, we scraped our knees, we got back up and went on.
Like you said, today's kids are wrapped in cotton.
Life if full of hard knocks and everyone should experience some of them.

Can't even play tag?? That's going a bit far, what are they allowed to do if they can't run around, just sit on benches politely chatting? Children bounce, it's true, and they need to be able to find out what their limits are when they're young. Scraping your knees isn't the end of the world, but it teaches you how far you can go before hurting yourself, which we should do before we become adults.

Sheesh I really need to work on clicking the track button when I add people!
Now that I'm actually aware of when you post stuff....:P
I'm like you. I can't really remember when I got punished for something. I managed to get through my childhood without being grounded once.
Aren't we horrible? :P

There's a track button?? I never knew that, I add friends and they always appear on my friends page when they update.

Haha yes, we are horrible, I've never been grounded and never been kept behind after school or anything, I think it helped that my parents gave me a lot of freedom so I never felt the need to rebel!

Yeah, its the one with the pin on it. If you go to someones user profile its at the top there. Otherwise I dont check my friends page enough to realize when someones posted, I get the emails instead.

I did get detention once, for passing around a note that asked whether or not we liked Language Arts (in which most of us said yes), but thats it. I'm the polar opposite of my brother, who's been in major trouble in the past. I use that to my advantage :P

Ooo I've never seen that before. I check my friends page quite regularly anyway; I get enough emails as it is when people reply to my comments and entries, I don't think I could keep up if I got one whenever anyone posted an entry as well! lol.

Aww, such a lame reason for getting a detention :op
