Twilight

Lady at work said to my boss "Is it just me or has Delaney put on quite a bit of weight lately?" My boss says "Well I should hope she has, she's having a baby!" Delaney just happens to be 32 weeks pregnant, but it seems it's passed Carole by completely and she just thought she was putting weight on...but only on her belly...lol.( Twlight review here )

Well.... I read all four of the Twilight books. I read them as comedies. I've never giggled so much when reading a book as I did those ones. It is definitely "average". Meyer isn't very good at writing, but she does have a good grasp on pre-teen female wet-dreams basically! You definitely weren't missing anything. But you should give it a read and keep an eye out for "dazzle". I giggled everytime that word showed up, along with a few other words and phrases that she overuses.

Ah, maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I'd gone into it expecting a comedy, lol :o) Honestly, I had absolutely no idea what it was when I walked into the cinema. If I'd have known it was a teen romance flick I'm not sure I would have gone, lol. But I suppose I'm glad I've seen it and now I know what all the fuss is about.

Yeah, I had no idea what it was all about when I went into the cinema and if I'd know it was a teen romance flick, maybe I wouldn't have bothered! But I'm glad I've seen it so I know what all the fuss is about.

LoL, really, someone only puts weight on their belly, you'd think she'd figure out why! :op

I don't think Twilight would be something that I would want to see or read, but I guess a lot are going to see it.

I would think the landlady wouldn't mind you moving furniture around.

As for the pole, since you don't have to nail or screw it to the ceiling or floor, I wouldn't think she would have a problem with it..

Yeah, hopefully she won't mind if I promise to move it all back when I leave. The pole would be sort of wedged in and wouldn't require any drilling or screws and won't damage anything at all. And yes, I always have a hard time explaining pole dancing to people, they all think it's sordid! I generally say it's a sort of gymnastics, but on a vertical pole instead of a horizontal one lol ;o)
