Number 29; cut and dye my hair

Number 29 in my list of 101 things in 1001 days, dramatically change my hair with either a cut or a dye. I did both!

Hehe, yeah, I've had it that long my entire life, but suddenly is just started getting on my nerves and I just had to get it cut :o)
Ooh I wouldn't be brave enough to have it properly purple, one of my friends has it that colour, but I'm worried I'll change my mind if I do that; I'd rather keep a semi permanent dye instead :o)

I tried to dye my hair purple with one of those wash out dyes once but it didnt make my hair look any different :P

Thank you! It's taking a bit of getting used to, but I do love it :o)
I had the same thing with the wash out dyes, I think you have to get a semi permanent for it to make any significant different.

LoL yeah, you can't normally see how long it is in most photos, so this is a huge change for me, but I'm liking it more and more all the time :o)

Hi Shellie! WOW! I can't believe how much you had cut off, you must feel like you're walking on air without all that weight, I love it! it really suits you so does the colour, I had imagined bright purple, LOL

Good luck with the house, the landlady sounds really easy to get along with which is great!

LoL yeah I can't believe it either. I told her I didn't mind losing the length as long as it still went at least to my shoulders and basically left her to do what she wanted, and I love what she's done with it! My workmate loves it so much she's going to go to the same place to have hers done :o)

Ooh I'm not brave enough to do it bright purple, I'd have to bleach it first and there's no way I'd do that, knowing me I'll get bored of it soon so I've just got a semi-permanent dye that will eventually wash out; and then I can try different colours! :-D

Yeah I think I'm lucky finding such a great house and easy going landlady, I don't think it could be any better, apart from if it was closer to town, but that's only a minor issue :o)

Shellie, your hair is beautiful - I really love it! It's very flattering around your face like that. Not to say it wasn't lovely before too of course. Just think, it will go under your helmet much easier now. :o)
