hahaha this girl was sitting next to me on the shuttle like an hour ago, talking to her friend about "OHMYGOD!!, i cant go home this weekend anymore! i heard that we have 11 days of reserve oil and then like, the whole south wont have oil! because like, al lthe transporters are shut down! omg! its going to go up to like, 5$!" (later she called her mom and said all this but changed it to 6$) and was like, omg, omg, omg! this is like, insane! omg! and i couldnt stop laughing to myself.

also: i just this second got back from the gas station and it was MOBBED. lines of cars waiting to get gas at 2.89$

I know a few of the stations here in town have already ran out. From people going crazy, of course.

I kind of hope we DO run out. I'd be so hot after a few days of walking everywhere. It'd kind of be cool to not be able to work Friday... We can tell our grand kids about the Gas Shortage of 2005 and they'll be like, wait, what were "cars?"
