oh yu. I think it's been a good two/three years since I read a DGM fic, but let me tell you, I am not surprised one bit that it was your writing that got me reading again. This was all kinds of ridiculous brilliance, terrible humor that gets me laughing at every turn, and I am both horrified and gleeful to learn that Kanda is a part time driving instructor (especially since I only got my driver's license a few months back.)

Favorite line among an instant favorite fic: Anita's clean and pure, Kanda's clean and impure, and Lavi is neither clean nor pure, so they're sortof a gradient of scum, sat there in front of the TV with the baby on her highchair facing them.

It's not just you >A< The last time I wrote a whole fic was mid last year too, and I think that's terrrrible. I'm pleased as punch it's got you reading again! (and there's a rumour a new chapter will come out in November), and there's another half-done fic somewhere with Kanda has a driving instructor (it's a traumatic but interesting experience).

OH MAN while I was writing the scum bit I just thought it was a great description. All the crummy miserable bits were a great description of how I'm feeling nowadays lmao

I haven't read the new chapters of the manga in so long. I stopped when Alma was introduced and Rabi practically disappeared for good ;u; Oh gosh, I don't think I ever want to get over Kanda being a driving instructor, the imagery is both horrific and beautiful. YOU and YOUR DESCRIPTIONS are made of LOVE and the grittiest parts of living because you just get it so RIGHT.
