Really now....

I don't understand all this mud-blood and pure-blood nonsense. Just looking around the school there are many Wizards born from Muggle families that are better at spells and charms. This whole gulf between some houses is mostly the work of stuck up pure-bloods who feel intimidated by the fact that they aren't the best at everything anymore ( Read more... )

Magical ability is only part of the argument, but I believe it has to do primarily with solidarity of history and wizarding culture. I wouldn't speak for what the purebloods think although I could make some educated guesses, but discriminatory behavior is not exclusive amongst them either. Halfbloods, such as Voldemort, also have evinced hatred toward Muggles. Perhaps this hatred is in some wizarding lines' blood and nonmagical beings are their natural enemies, as a defense mechanism to preserve their species. Then again, even Muggleborns contribute to the "gulf" between houses by their ignorance and arrogance, lack of understanding and lack of respect (not necessarily to purebloods but the weight and heft of magical culture in general). On the other side, the side of "Muggle lovers" as some term it, there is a general lack of reverance for tradition and stagnancy, a general lack of propriety and status, or a lack of depth in the understanding of their own culture, in the cases of the advocates who propose unrestricted welcome of the ( ... )

Thanks for the information, Shinji. Even if it was a bit too wordy.

If that how you write your homework on the scrolls? I hope the teachers aren't cutting you points because of it.

Ah.

It's just you. I believe it's only mostly guys who have taken up these journals so far, but it does not reflect on the girl population at school.

Are you sure? Walking around campus I still think the girls are less.

Well. No, I'm not sure. Are you sure you're sure of your sureness? I suppose this can be resolved with a headcount...

Probably the fact that you muggles and half-bloods dilute the purity of our bloodlines if we were to intermingle. My dislike for muggle born or half-breeds aren't as blatant or strong as some other students, but it's always been this way. Before my time, before my parents, and grandparents and so forth.

It isn't a big deal to me and the belief comes naturally. I don't even give it a second thought, but I suppose you'd notice something like that because you were unfortunate enough to have been born muggle.

Dilute your bloodlines? I think it's about time you pure-bloods stopped marrying between your family members and broadened your horizons. Our blood is as red as your's and you can't tell us apart physically. Unless you all have extra toes I don't know about?

I'm proud to have been born a muggle. That way I know more about both worlds and can cope in and out of Hogwarts. Not to mention I ace muggle studies. ;D

Oh, and debate aside. Congratulations on being a prefect. Don't go abusing your power now. ^_~

................... nevermind.

*has a theory about the difference between pure-bloods and muggles but he won't say because it's crass and it's not like they can "compare" because Ann's a girl anyway lol ♥*

That is an optimistic perspective.

Thank you.

..... I won't push you then.

Ahahahaha... Ann's spiritual cock is larger than Kaji's actual one. ;3 If you said it she'd probably make Kamio show his anyway. XD <3

Ofcourse~! Staying optimistic is one of the only ways to survive Hogwarts.

You're welcome. ;D
